Today was a good day. Today, I bought the camera I've been lusting after for several years now. Affordably so even! Okay... so it might have cost me a thumb.

It's an EOS Digital Rebel XTi/EOS 400D Digital. I'm horribly in love with it. 10.10 Megapixel SLR with a EF-S 18-55mm lens to start me off. Plus a UV filter and some macro lenses which I simply A D O R E.

We were off to see Live Free Die Hard today (which was great!) and had some time before the movie, so we took a stroll around the waterway. I got some really great shots just fooling around. Sadly, in my button mashing, I seem to have deleted them.

But we'll be going downtown to the park and the botanical garden as soon as I can find the time off work. Should be some interesting things to see there! Also, we're planning a trip to Austin, so I'm looking forward to all the old buildings there.
